... last ride thru because my motel is 5 mi south of I-40. The motel seems to have little on the city itself so I will peruse my guide book and see what else is noteworthy besides the Clinton Library. I got all excited that there was a barbecue place beside the motel, until I realized it was abandoned.
Little Rock, Arkansas, United States visionrider... but I just didn't feel like doing that. Whenever I stayed in one place for more than a few days I got restless: I think I need friends and/or some more stability, like having my own place and being able to unpack and have my own room, to stay in one place for any longer amount of time, which I just wouldn't have while traveling.

So I'm back, and I hope this experience has changed me for the better. I plan on trying ...

The next moning I woke up a got everyone breakfast as it was going to end at nine and everyone was still asleep at 8.30. After breakfast we went to the Riverfront where they had a really nice farmer's market. Deb and I both bought some really cool hair clips and the girls ate watermelon. Billy I found you some BBQ ...

Conway, Arkansas, United States bastormsoccer... we hit a very bad storm - heavy rain, lots of wind. The
roads couldn't handle it and there was deep standing water on many of
the roads. We pulled off a while and waited it out. Once it calmed
down, we continued driving on US-78 toward Tupelo, Mississippi. We got
lunch at Arby's and let the kids stretch their legs (David Andrew was
mad that there was no playground!) We had a gas stop a couple of hours
later and were ...

Little Rock, Arkansas, United States lagalag1... for the night (5 to 9). Leonard took us on Post (the base) again and we purchased all of the Monster Coffee drinks that they had in stock (23 cans) for the road. After that Steve, Leonard and I went to Applebee's for dinner. This morning Leonard made Steve a big breakfast of bacon and eggs while I finished Anne's new website for her rental property on the Dutch side St. Maarten in the Caribbean - www.coralshore.com. A great winter spot ...
Little Rock, Arkansas, United States colleen.killorn... I were able to show Zoe the rural parts of Arkansas. She appeared to be asleep in the back seat for most of the tour. We also visited with Chris and Nicole and were sad to leave them behind as we packed up and headed for Asheville, sadly our last stop on the roadtrip. We were able to purchase some fireworks which we plan on lighting upon our return to Hodge Hill in Warrenton. Somebody warn the dogs.
Little Rock, Arkansas, United States zoestephen... here? Vote no, just pack and go. Last night's dinner, not a pleasant thing. (No cook showed up, that's what I think, I heard the waitstaff arguing behind closed doors, opted for the salad bar. The sad thing though? Our boys, young men, were gathered here, Army, Navy, I don't know, but military talk, recruiter's gathering spot before boot camp, I think. I overheard them talk, I'm sure I won't get sent to Iraq, but if I must I'll go. All meals were free, just ...
