Great place to stay...within walking distance to the Galleria and many other shopping and restaurant venues. Staff always friendly and professional. They remembered me from my last visit...always referred to by last name. Our hotel choice for a stay in Houston.

We all woke up early to do the early slide shuffle: Holly and I prepped and packed ham sandwiches and potstickers (!) for the kids, we woke them up and they put on suits, Tad drove us to the main lobby to get our wristbands right at 8am, and then back to the other park main gate where we were the first people in line. Later that day, just when we were all overhead checked in and taxied for takeoff a very old short Peruvian plumbing pipe shaped ...
Yesterday, I tried to fix my stay at a guest ranch in the Texas Hill Country. However, the ranch of my choice is closed for a week due to a family wedding. I have checked for alternatives, but I either do not like the ranch or it is way too expensive. Therefore, I will jump on a horse in New Mexico or Arizona. Naturewise I will like those states better anyways.
So, this forenoon I will hop in a bus to San Antonio. Jan 29th in the evening, I will fly to El Paso.
Oh my goodness! What a night! 8 girls in 1 room coming and going at any time of the night. Making loud noises, putting the light on, snorring crazy, clogging the toilet, jumping around in the upper bunk, very limited respect. Under these circumstances I had my difficulties catching sleep. Am I getting too old for a dorm?
