Great place to stay...within walking distance to the Galleria and many other shopping and restaurant venues. Staff always friendly and professional. They remembered me from my last visit...always referred to by last name. Our hotel choice for a stay in Houston.

We all woke up early to do the early slide shuffle: Holly and I prepped and packed ham sandwiches and potstickers (!) for the kids, we woke them up and they put on suits, Tad drove us to the main lobby to get our wristbands right at 8am, and then back to the other park main gate where we were the first people in line. Waited 50 minutes and booked …

The girls had a hearty Embassy breakfast before we packed the car and drove to the Rice campus. On the way we found my old apartment building on Westheimer, Avalon Square. The whole area has been built up with high ride condo building and high end shops and restaurants, and a Whole Foods just a few blocks away now. We parked on campus and walked …

It's a huge house where each room is decorated in the style and form of a different time period in American history from Colonial to mid-1900th century. It’s an outstanding collection of only the very best of ...

... Control was rained out so we missed it.

We saw moon rocks, pictures of all the astronaut teams, space suits, rocket engines, etc. We watched 2 really good films. The first was about the history of the space program with lots of good film clips. The second was a new film about the future of space exploration. It was on the largest giant screen in Texas and was an excellent film about the future ...

We got to the car park and manged to photograph a few other state plates. Still no Alaska or Hawaii.

The lady at the ticket desk did a grand job of upselling the audio tour to us, so off we went with our confusing maps and our audio tours looking like right tourists! Believe me, we ...
