I'm all caught up! (well, by cheating a little)

Yes, that's right, I'm cheating. I'm tired of being behind, and I'm never going to catch up if I don't do something drastic. So, here it is, something drastic: I'm doing four entries in one.

I've been sick for about a week and a half, and Barbara has been taking very good care of me. On those rare occasions that I wasn't whining, she had a little time for herself. She wanted me to report to you that over the last week and a half ...

I want the real thing, a champion cold. I want the cold-to-end-all-colds. I ...

... Division Commander. Also present was Colonel Kern who was Eric's area commander when he was deployed to Kandahar. The Colonel made the drive from Washington DC just for the ceremony.

Eric's boss, Major Decedue, did a wonderful job of recapping Eric's career. In addition to receiving the Meritorious Service Medal at this ceremony, of which I was extremely proud, I learned that Eric was selected as Airman of the Year on two ...

    East Coast Day Two

... operator decided to lower so we were delayed another 20 minutes as a 5 car train passed. Back to speed now for a while and now have to pass through a set of locks. Due to a large barge coming up the coastal, the operator of locks normally opens every hour, but let us enter along with a sailboat as the barge was too large for all to fit….yea ! – finally one in our favor, got ...
