    ... of how much I have missed the presence of water in my home city. Brisbane used to have a number of fountains but alas, no more. In both Dallas and Norfolk, it has been very hot. Shady glades with running water have an amazing capacity to soothe and restore and both of these cities have had these in abundance. I hope that one day, fountains will return to our Brisbane.

    The last day in Virginia was one of the best. Mike & Rhonda picked us up and treated us to a Norfolk harbor cruise thru Hampton Roads and the US Navy Shipyards. The weather was perfect for the topside cruise.
