      ... Monument, and the Pentagon. I waved to my Auntie Poppy who works there and pretended she could see me. All the kids are taking pictures and instagraming like crazy. Our tour guide told them that EF tours is giving an ipad away to the student with the best picture on instagram with the hashtag (#) EFtours or something like that. (I assume it is open to all their tours). Our scholars are bound and determined to win.

      There is a bike exchange system here called Capitol bike share where you can pay $15 for 3 days and take bikes from one station to another. The first 30 minutes is free and if you ride for longer between stations you pay extra. There is a station not far from where we are staying so we grabbed a couple today and set off to see the Smithsonian museums and the monuments. First stop was the Capitol building which we pretty much just rode around and didn't see properly so we will save ...

I have had the experience of the younger generation giving up their seats so I can sit, people helping me with my bags and directions, I thought everybody would be in too much of a hurry or only worried about themselves to care about others, but that's not the case. What I find amazing is from Hawaii to here so far all the public buses we have been on have a ramp for disabled people to get on or off the bus ...
