A travel blog entry by emily.doerner on Jan 17, 2015

... end, when it’s finally time to go, you realize there is only so much you can do. At some point you have to set down your guidebook, close your web-browser, and just go. Traveling is terribly scary and exhilarating. It seems to go against human nature to willingly entering into a situation you know you will have no control over, but to seek out new places is incredible innate and so very human. The loss ...

Up early to catch our flight from Oklahoma to Denver to Omaha. Got to Denver and were told no seats for you - and furthermore no seats on the next (and last flight)! I also ordered a "fix it yourself" Bloody Mary, fun! ...

... activities. There is a open air trolly (The Platte Valley Trolley) that for $5.00 a person takes you for a scenic ride next to the South Platte River. You go by a large amusement park, children's museum and the aquarium. We also went close to the Bronco's Mile High stadium. Sally did note that two of her least favorite players now live in Denver- Peyton Manning and John Elway. I guess that is why we were not invited to their homes for a visit. The trolley ...

      The Fifth Day (Denver)

A travel blog entry by isabellerose13 on Dec 23, 2013

We woke up this morning to find a blanket of snow over everything outside. So we had some breakfast and went outside in the snow, we even got to walk on the frozen river. Then we got ready to drive to Beaver Meadows Ranch. It was about an hours drive and we saw a lot of mountains along the way. We we got outside and it was FREEZING! We walked through the wind and snow to the place where we were going tubing. What you do to tube is grab ...
