While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement. The area we are staying in, Palmero, is really nice and ...

Didn't go to sleep. I had to wake up at 3am to grab a shower & finish packing. I was really nervous about leaving Thor & knew I would miss the others critters too. Before leaving on a trip, I get "owners guilt" about leaving my pets behind. They give me those sad eyes & the guilt starts a coming! This departure is different though. Thor is terminally ill & was given 6 months to live. We are about one and a half months into his diagnosis. To take myself away from him for a ...

... make it to E terminal. I noticed that there were not many that stayed on the tram to E-terminal. It appears that many international flights leave out of E-terminal from Atlanta. As I am racing up the stairs to my gate I see a separate escalator to go to customs/immigration. I pass it and continue to my gate and see people boarding. Whew made ...
