    Arrived in sunny Santa Monica, and found a beach where we spent the day before asking the stupid gps for a campsite which turned out to be a bank ..... Found another site to stay but instead of a nice coastal drive bloody GPS lady (Sandra) decided to take us on the i405 during rush hour woop woop, Americans really can't drive they are almost as good as the Greek taxi drivers ...

    ... who already have tickets, if any, you could get the chance to take their place, so you have to be lucky, coming all the way from Tasmania and being a big Conan fan I was feeling pretty lucky. We didn't feel too lucky getting up at 7.30am to go and catch a bus to Burbank up behind the Hollywood hills.     ... The bus was interesting, very lively driver who made the trip! First stop was Rodeo Drive, my heaven. Every top brand you could think of, and I couldn't spend a penny!     We left our beachfront apartment to stay for a night in the hotel where the tour begins. On the way in the taxi I got to see the marina we couldn't find yesterday so didn't miss out after all.
