    ... from the 1800s, asphalt and methane still bubbles from underground vents. Around are life sized statues of a mammoth family and a lone mastodon. Ricky went through the page musuem and had a religious experience as he came out.
    We drove down to the Hollywood walk of fame and saw the Chinese Theatre and the walk of fame pavement. Had a fantastic salad at the Pig and Whistle then drove to a rest stop to camp for the night.

    ... flying swings and the giant Fairest Wheel. Sheryl and Kev opted for the fixed cages but we went for swinging, hah! We went on another Roller coaster of Goofy learns to fly but this was really jerky!! We also rode the submarine swing and watched a 3D movie of a bugs life and the Muppets. We lined up for the ride Cars which is based on the kids animation. It was just under 2 hours we had to wait. It would have been quicker but they had to stop for 10 minutes or so to fix a problem ...

    Today was another long driving day. Lots of beautiful scenery, lots of weird effects of low lying cloud over the ocean, and 10 hours of driving for Darren.

    4/1/2014 Before we left Santa Barbara we hired some bikes and went for a ride along the foreshore it was fun we also went to a football field and ran up 40 flights of stairs.
