... read your stupid poem. The high school boys didn't like it. If the police torture you, you are in trouble, and if they don't torture you, you are also in trouble." The snow, which had given signs of abating, now began to fall more thickly. "Good news, my father just left, let's make love now." It was great, she was voluptuous, he was glad he had asked. We landed in Libreville, Gabon to let some passengers off and to pick up some others. After all the departing passengers got off the plane, the flight attendants verified the owner of each carry-on bag in the overhead bins. Each of us had to claim our bags. Only small, but this morning when I was out and about! there was a large procession of school children parading the streets, all in fancy dress of some sort or ...

... time here in Lagos! I rebooked my flight listings to go to Caracas with Mom, then to Bogota alone; originally my plan was to do Bogota first, then Caracas.

Bed prep at 10:35. I then counted my naira cash – N 4,270 ($27.55). Also I have $57 in U.S. cash. I sure hope my ATM card is accepted in Benin and Togo!

Organized my stuff, then sat down to figure out what I want to do tomorrow. I think I will try to go to Badagry, which is a former slave port 40 miles west of Lagos.

          Bed at 1:07 a.m. ...
