... Mojito time! Fully refreshed, we headed back down the Champs Elysees towards the Louvre. James and Peter were totally bored and couldn't seem to understand the enormity of where we were. Even the sight of the glass pyramid at the Musee du Louvre was totally un exceptional to them. So we just dragged them around and enjoyed the architecture with much complaining and dragging feet. ... French it all was when she started singing Autumn Leaves ( a French composition and jazz standard) only to top that off with La vi en Rose. Some cynics may say how clichéd, but it was just wonderful. ... br> We went to Galleries Lafayette and it was amazingly ornate. We saw the free fashion parade that we booked tickets for before we left, it was packed full, so obviously it is very popular, and it was very cool.
