    ... century English paintings, and some amazing Wedgwood and Chinese ceramics, we had a look at the church and a walk through the gardens, the roses still blooming - and even scented! And then of course a sit down and drink at the pub. We still had time for a last walk along the cycle track, and a last delicious dinner with Omnia. And even caught a new New Tricks episode!! Now off to bed and ready for new adventure ...

    ... 2013. The tour is done very well taking us through the dressing rooms, makeup & costume areas…..a few of Roy’s cardigans seemed all too familiar. Then all the internal sets like the Platt’s lounge & kitchen; Carla’s apartment; Tyrone’s (Duckworth’s) lounge and even the interior of the canal boat where Ken had one of his many affairs.     ... has been renovated recently inside and is amazing. Planned in a spiral - a bit like the Guggenheim in NY, or the Seattle library, with an egg shaped dome in the ceiling. Really beautiful - and very modern. And the adjoining round building is still in classic form by contrast. By afternoon it was fine and even sunny.     ... love You. ( that song bounced around in our heads for several hours! )

    The Beatles Story, at Albert Dock, was amazing & to top it all off: The Magical Mystery Tour! It took us all around Liverpool showing where the guys had lived & played & started performing. That evening we headed down to The Cavern for a drink & a bit of musical reminiscing .
