    ... started to climb slightly as we rode alongside the river to Luz-Saint-Sauveur; once through the town we reached the official start of the climb of the Col du Tourmalet (2115m). First used in the Tour de France in 1910, it was an unpaved road which was in terrible condition. Apparently many of the cyclists were nervous of riding because of the bears that frequented the area.     Definitely the busiest little country so far, even more so than Monaco.
    Had a great lunch here and walked round the capital, and found some really cool motorbike shops, in fact you can get just about anything you like for your bike here, well except a tank lock for a triumph.
