    ... just over 6 years ago now. On the way back from our walk to the lighthouse we stopped off at one of the stunning beaches and just lay on the sand, enjoying the patches of sun before we decided to head back to the hostel and settle in.

    First on this trip, Angie and I had a few days to recover ( and defrost from the Canberra/Melbourne winter) in Paris with Kate. Alan still toughing it out at home for a couple of weeks as he has a concert to play. Flew to Lisbon for a great week there. What a fabulous city! So relaxed and laid back.....but I feel sorry for the older residents.....how on earth do they negotiate the hills in the centre of town. ...

    ... the beach in the hope of finding something cheap to eat. We happened to however walk past a bar that was showing that All Blacks game, I convinced Dina to stay for one half at least while we ate the cheap breakfast. It was a really good time and well worth it as a few aussies and kiwis piled their way in.

    ... weight up. We finally found an 'All the Meat You Can Eat" restaurant where John and Sam ‘Pigged’ and ‘Cowed’ and ‘Chickened’ out to their hearts content while we ate a ‘normal meal.

    ... day yesterday! We took a bus to Quarteira, the area where we were bike riding a few days ago.
