... Cherry Ripe" - one of a row of about 5 very ornate houseboats which overlook a carpet of water lilies. There we were met by our captain and chef - Meraj - who refreshed us with saffron tea and a lovely light cake. We then explored the boat discovering 3 enormous bedrooms - each with ensuite bathroom, a dining room, lounge and outside deck. ... the Heritage Mishal Gardens, built by the Moghuls. We were the real curiosities there. The place was full of Indian tourists who all wanted photos taken with us. The park was full of happy children wading in the fountains. The boys either in their underpants or naked and the girls fully dressed. Picnic lunch on the boats before continuing with the tour.
