I have no idea when he asked her to get me a ticket or why he was queuing if she was buying his ticket but I certainly wasn't complaining. He'd even arranged friends to save seats on the train so that I even ended up with a whole bench to sleep on.I shouldn't have been surprised of his answer when I asked what he did ...

We had to hike out 30 mins to get back to the road and then caught a taxi back to Gulmarg (after the boys in the group got a shave from the barber in town interestingly enough). The trip back turned out to be quite the event as we negotiated our way between buses, taxis and army trucks on ...

... said NO". "No means maybe". "No, no means no, Enn, Ohh, NO". "Ok, next time yeah?". "NO". I've always felt the expression what part of "no" do you not understand a bit cheesy and irritating but I was getting close to using it this time. ;-)

  • ...And two awesome girls from Slovakia, Andrea and Diana - I'm going walking and camping with them up in the mountains :)
Enjoy these pics, and read on for mountain treks.
