... town of Naxos, we first visited the temple of Apollo and then found our way through the narrow alleys in the old town to a lovely Italian restaurant. Naxos island has a thriving agriculture industry, not everyone is dependent on the tourist industry, which makes it a more lively place during the off season. The next day the weather was pleasant so we continued to tour the city of Naxos and walk along several beaches south of the ...

The remainder of the morning was spent eating breakfast and skyping home to check in and update all of our various goings on. This is far more relevant for Brendon as communication can be somewhat of an afterthought sometimes.

Come afternoon it was time to get some more booking done but before ...

... so Lachie went to pull over and it was a close call with a wall but once again we came away with no scratches and a good story to tell. We saw some amazing views of the mountain, and it seemed you didn't have to drive long before you saw the water or breathtaking views. In amongst the barren land was the beautiful whitewashed buildings, or blue and white churches and plenty of cars to keep us alert. I refused to drive on the road, but had a little go on ...
