Kandy Land! Our last day in this beautiful city
... but it is true what they say scammers and touts love hanging around this area because of the high number of tourists, so i guess if your going there just be aware. I do recommend checking it out though, it is a particulary nice part of the city. We also managed to go for a swim in the hotel pool during the day which was really nice, tommorow we get on the 6am Rajathani express for Colombo, where we will then head to Unawatuna in the south.

... second time, it was awesome. Such amazing creatures, elephants are. They seem to be extremely smart, and even though they could kill you before you could shout “****!” they are amazingly calm. After a quick ride and a few photos, we went on our way to Kandy where we had a reservation at the Shangri-La Guest house.
We arrived at the guest house at around lunch time, and soon after we were both asleep again. It had been such a grueling couple ...
