    Very hot. Garmin read 42•c in sun. Pretty canyon pass and surrounded by mountains which were snow capped. Long roads and more I80. Feel I earned the Dairy Queen stop and one ice cream was not enough. Had to at least try the milkshake. Then one flavour of milkshake was not enough. Uh oh I think it's turning into an addiction... Casino for dinner. Early bed as back to back century days coming ...

We got to Palisades and the Altitude was 6000 sometimes you couldn't tell we were climbing in altitude but the last push in this area was a hard climb.
