The waves broke over where we were and just a little bit of my pants got wet but not to worry - this was fresh water and the pants dried nicely. It was hard to get my head around the notion that water and sand do not mean salt water. It would have been good to come at a time when I could have swum in the water and experienced that activity. Back in town, we chatted with Madge and then enjoyed a lovely meal of roast stuffed boneless pork and vegetables followed by a piece of her delicious apple pie. More chatting before retiring to bed.
