So today was bittersweet.
My mom and my Uncle Ryan (who flew in from Aiguá, Uruguay to be with the family) drove out from Ft. Wayne, Indiana to see the show. Seeing as how there was no way Ryan would have ever seen our show and John perform in person, it was an unexpected sweet moment in the midst of a heavy month for us.
But first...we arrived ...

Next part of the package was in the Round Barn, where a production of "Little Women" was playing. This was loosely based on the story of the same name, but part musical. The girl playing Jo was very good, but the girl playing Marmie sadly had a weak voice and when she had a solo I cringed as she thought vibrato was the way to go. Yuck I hate that style.

Today was a fairly uneventful day except for one thing:
One of my blog readers, Charles, came to the show and brought me a pan of brownies as a condolence on the loss of my grandma. This unexpected treat brought tears to my eyes and a smile to my face.
