... playing, just being quiet, just eating, just being. So I finally got around to actually filming them over the course of a few days when they were 7 months old (I hate saying 'were'). It's nothing special...just a handful of videos chronicling a normal day for us. I get it, it's kind of long and I don't expect anyone to actually watch the whole thing (except for maybe my mom and Chip's mom!) but I wanted to ...
... from 19 to 40! Some of the things they say are hilarious.
Chip has taken a break from running (minus the fact that he's running a half marathon with Brian right now even though he hasn't stepped foot in his running shoes in over a month). He has been focused on getting caught up at work (story of his life, I know) and staying caught up (it's working...I have proof!). We are fortunate he is working ...
... and straight into a partial whiteout situation.
The banter was intense.
Dressed for the occasion? Why certainly, with no sweater and the trusty Birkenstocks, we were cooking with gas and everything was fine.... if a trifle soggy.
There is a steam train which winds its way up to Silverton from Durango, and stops near the visitor's centre. Pretty, but with such a narrow gauge, possibly not the most comfy ride.
The visitor's centre was crammed full of ...
... feeling like I'm going to die. But I also cannot wait to ride my bike, run, and cook.
What I'll miss most about being pregnant: Chip has already said that I better keep my pregnancy clothes. I am still obsessed with feeling the babies move. I don't want that to go away...ever.
House updates: Chip installed a new toilet in the guest bathroom. Isn't he a gem?! Also, the 80 year old lady we bought the house from came over ...
... delicious bite. More thank yous go to Brian, Ron and Barbara for helping with the house preparation. Prior to moving in they were able to get carpet pulled, walls patched, floors ready, a small kitchen project finished, and began painting one of the bedrooms.
