Epilogue: Connor was just watching tv and there on the screen, coming to us live from Milan, is a huge open air rock concert. Right in front of the Duomo. I was happy for Nathan and Tilly as well that they could experience what cycling in Italy should be like, instead of the busy, flat, sparse roads around Vighignolo we enjoyed sparkling, clear water and spectacular mountains. ... empire and the Sforza castle. Street vendors and beggars were everywhere and they were extremely pushy. They would come up to me and grab me and not let go. It was unsettling and annoying. One street performer shook my hand and asked me where I was from, I ignored him but he would let go of my hand. I had to literally rip my hand out of his; it made me mad. I bought a leather jacket in Milan shopping district, I have a weakness for leather. I regret nothing.
