    ... day's journey, we spent the evening in the apartment. Watching TV was interesting, mostly because they get tons of American programming, but also to hear the Danish language spoken so much.     ... Dubai at 8.00am.

    Our arrival into Dubai airport was not at all like our previous visit. Despite being on an Emirates flight we were off loaded onto the tarmac in 35 degree heat then transported on buses to be herded through immigration and eventually allowed to enter the terminal lounge.
