... tournament. Might of had a little break down/ tear in the shower after this. To finish the day we had the opening ceremony. I was still in a pretty pooey mood but I tried to enjoy it. I didn't take any photos (sorry friend) but I will find some on Facebook when I get home for you :) wouldn't call it a very special ceremony- most of it was in Swedish although it was very cool to see a few thousand people pack out the town square for it. Today was one of those days I really needed you ...

So far we've found Scandinavia really friendly and we've felt much more at home here than in some other places we've visited. Everyone speaking English helps of course but we also fit in a bit better hair colour wise - there are lots of little blonde Phoebe's around and a few ginger Viking types too! ... highlightes), but still 2 simple words can make me tremble. These are - AMUSEMENT PARK, which Liseberg literally is. Thanks to Erik's sister Linnea who had worked there we had about 50 free tickets, so that our fun was limitless. Some interesting facts I would like to stress on talking about Liseberg. The bad holding system is super awesome. Created by 3 Estonians and a Swedish guy your bags are wisely stored in special boxes while you are riding a rollercoaster ...

Wow- lots of great times today! First of all, I'm somewhere on the Baltic Sea (or is it ocean?) heading south to Kiel, Germany (I'm geographically challenged). We loaded up on the Stena Line Ferry tonight at 5pm (9am, Boise). It's currently 9:13pm, local time (1pm, Boise), and we were surprised to see that we had free wifi-- but only for 60 minutes! So here it goes...
