        ... stopped here for a snack but we had to get moving.

        We grabbed the large gondola down which wasn’t crowded this time, and hit the ground running as soon as it touched down. We were the first from our group through the gates for the second small gondola, and grabbed a car that was at the end of the loading zone. It was just getting ready to close its doors, so we had a private car down for the long ride!

        ... able to give them some first hand advice, and when we found out they didn't have a plug converter for Switzerland, we were able to give them one of ours. We've met a lot of nice people on the trip, and gotten a lot of good advice about Switzerland and other European trips, so it was nice to be able to do something for someone else.

        Back fairly early to get ready for travel tomorrow. Matterhorn, here we come!

        ... we were going to collect our bits when other tourists asked if they could get photos with it… popular. When we had our gear back we frolicked in the snow making a few snow angels and a few snowballs we were covered in snow. Fortunately due to it being powdered fresh snow it shook off very easy and we weren’t wet at all. Even Gemma’s leather gloves which got soaked quickly dried without damage.

        ... us all understand each other as she speaks English very well. The meal was delicious – I had fish from Lake Thun – beautifully presented by the chef who had worked on Hayman Island and joked he was a citizen of Bundaberg (rum!!!).
