... walking through the old town area. Because it was a Sunday most of the shops were closed except for some restaurants and of course McDonalds. Yes we ended up eating lunch here and it surprisingly taste quite yummy--a much needed little taste of America! We finally found a park. They don't have large parks like they do in the States. Most ...

I thought I was playing charades for a few minutes to no avail. I was trying to ask where I could find a stock feed suppliers as it was the only place I could think of. We finally found one and Annette will be wearing it when she comes of the ...

Michelle prepared me a great packup and I was away. It was sad to say goodbye. Switzerland had been so amazing and a complete surprise. Had it not been for a chance meeting in a portuguese bar, things could have been so different. I really had a great time and i'm so grateful to Michelle and her family for everything they have done. It must have been awkward at times ha ha.

I can't wait to go back.....

I decided to order Rosti again tonight, but got the Oberland version tonight with just an egg and cheese. It was good but again very filling. I’m going to have to start eating lighter meals either at lunch or dinner, both because of the cost but also the quantity. It didn't seem to be as much of an issue in Italy, as the ...

... down again to climb the Sustenpass, one the most beautiful mountain pass I have done in Switzerland. From there is was another climb on a narrow winding road to Engstlensee, a popular destinations for the locals. There is a pretty little lake and nice view of Mt Titlis 3240m.
The return trip was via the other side of Lake Brienz ending high up over the lake of Thun.
Another great day in gorgeous Swiss Alps.
