    ... to take my omelet on the bus as it arrived at the same time. Espresso freddo no sugar is always a great kick start! It will be a two hour wait for a bus to Kalamata.     ... from the convent there staff, selling things that they made. I hadn't brought any money with me, but I wish that I had, just to get something little. It was all beautiful, and the nun who was there with us was so sweet, opening it especially for our group (and Tom's before us), and offering us all Turkish Delight (I still don't know the Greek name) as soon as we stepped through the door.

    There is a large (and expensive) bridge across the Corinth bay between Nafpaktos and Patra. We we heading towards the Ancient Olympia, but unfortunately it was closed due to the strike. The actual running field can be seen if you walk by the gate (don't go in) and continue around 200m. That is the cheapest way to see the absolutely must of Olympia, but if you really want to run on that field ...
