... out and email it back. And that it couldn't be done until Monday. I had a look on the internet and decided to head for the Halkidiki Peninsula to spend the weekend at the beach. We found a lovely spot at Armenistis Campground. It was the last weekend of the summer school holidays too, so everywhere was quite busy. We had a lovely shady site not too far from the beach. ... We had joined from a side road around the coast so had little value from our €6 toll. In no time we were up for another toll of a similar amount. Campers are charged on height, so we are charged at the rate of a medium sized truck. It was still worth the experience, as the secondary roads would have taken for ever. The motorway was largely ...

... br> There have been the odd rash moves - like heading to the bakery for fresh bread and settling in for iced coffees and baklava - oozing honey and dripping with nuts.

Another chore was to get our meds (at our stage in life, you know...) Dave cycled to a small town about 10 Km away, armed with the EU health cards and the prescriptions from Poland. Two complications. First they didn't have one of ...
