      It was fun to be on the road again travelling back to Chicago. We avoided Detroit this time by crossing from Canada to USA further north. Before teaching to border we had to make a stop at Tim Hortons. They are everywhere in Ontario!!! A Canadian icon. Coffee isn't all that good (our opinion!) but the other yummies are pretty good!       ... our June trip out West, this trip has a time limit. I have to return to work in two weeks so that I can hurry my way to the picket lines. BY going east and staying in more populated areas, I have a lot of opportunities to evacuate the trip. It could feel very primitive going into a building downtown and not having a/c, but the climate there didn't necessarily demand it as it stayed relatively cool until when I left around mid July.
