The Jeff's decided to go off on their own and take the Ford, so headed off early this morning. They will meet us back at Rapid City on the day we fly out.
Today was very quiet so, while Monti was at work, the 4 of us decided to just go for a drive. We headed for St Charles, which was a pretty little town.
... br> There were a few of Monti's friends over and we all had a great night explaining some of our Australian words and teaching them some new things. Brekky at Maccas was one that they all thought was funny. Also, mozzies, was another one that they could not get.

... the "Monkey") on the way. Planes are too expensive. The Alaska Marine Highway ferry is within reach, but seems complicated and I don't need too much more of that. The cheapest and easiest way into Alaska is via cruise, but I didn't like the prices being offered this year. Camping in Brown Bear country always gives me the creeps, so I will wait to try that when I have hard sides surrounding me. So Alaska is not happening this year.
