... br> We took the dogs for a walk in the park, then continued on up the road past Loyola and up to Evanston (the next little town).
We zig zagged back and forth a bit just checking stuff out.
Stopped for a deep dish pizza at a little place called Carmen's. DEEEELICIOUS!!! The crust was amazing! I don't even like crust normally, but this one was like the crust you would find on a really good pie ...

... explaining how dry the area was and how much of a risk wild fires can be in the area, it should be noted that out of the 8 State/National Parks we stayed at throughout the entire trip, this was the only one that had a HUGE bin of split fire wood saying “free”.
