... we were up here i said goodbye to the three local dogs. We'd nicknamed one Smiley dog as it appeared to constantly be grinning, and when you gave it a fuss it'd get so excited it would wet itself.
Having skipped breakfast in place of coffee, we returned to Afros in Acharavi. We had a massive brunch of seafood: calamari, whitebait, tuna fritters etc. and then said our farewells to Costas and Chris. I'm sure we will see them again.

We decided to go and explore Corfu Castle, the older of two fortresses in the town. The fortress was huge, and had been in use for centuries. After a few hours of lounging around doing nothing much, we decided British weather called for British food, so we set off to a British expat haunt named Sally's in Ipsos. Arriving just as the sky opened up, we found the place was convincingly British, complete with a pool table, a darts board and smokey bar full of tattooed men drinking from cans. My parents ...
Woke up not feeling too well. Must've been a dirty glass.. I spent the first few hours of the day drinking iced tea in a coffee shop and catching up with people online. My parents were at the house meeting the carpenter who was designing all of their windows, doors and kitchen counters.
I did a little research into Istanbul. Although its not getting shown in the best light in the media right now, I cant wait to get there and explore.
