... we passed through security who checked the large locker, under the sofa and in the back storage area, it's a good job we didn't stow away any of those cats and dogs! We then cooked tea and settled in for the long wait at dock no. 5. Other vehicle began to arrive, wagons, white vans, a camper van, an overlander built on a small wagon chassis and cars, the occupants wandered about, some chatting in groups, the wagon drivers sat at the side of the vehicles and cooked ...

We left the ship late and spent some time using the Port's free wifi. We were heading to the bus stop to take a bus into town when we ran into an enterprising taxi driver. We all had a lot of work to do to get the white Scottish glow lifted. The girls said the sunrise was pretty but where it came up was actually hidden around the bend of the cliffs so it wasn’t as good as it could have been. The day consisted literally of reading our kindles and magazines, getting in and out of the pool and eating fresh ...

The hotel – Contiki Corfu beach village. I got up at 8.30am – a very nice sleep in. I showered, dressed and got ready for the day. My air-conditioning had been fixed last night so it was nice in the room. I then walked down the hill to the breakfast room. I had now found the stairs and some short cuts. After eating – the usual Contiki run place breakfast, i went back to the room, got ready for the day, relaxed, read, then left. I walked back down the hill, and ...
