We arrived in Stresa during a breif interlude in the rain--it changed from a steady downpour to a light sprinkle. Five minutes later, the deluge returned. Lugano is a lovely little town on the side of a huge lake. It was a nice place to spend a couple of hours. We walked along the lake side, then got a hot chocolate. It was another wonderful thick 'ciocolatta'.
