Today was a very productive day. We started out by visiting Ford's Theater where we took in a play. Then we quickly went to the National Portrait Gallery and found our founder, Juliette Gordon Low. Next we became spies at the International Spy Museum. My code name is Kitty Kat. From there we took the metro and headed to the National Mall where we visited the Museum of Natural History and American History. But wait there's more - from there we went to see the Washington ...
... night before, the planes seating plan, debri- the planes engine, metal signs, car doors. Another exhibit was of the Berlin Wall, there was actually a section of it there and information all about it. We went to the top of the building and had a nice view of the city and the capital building but could also see the parade from here, so we watched it for a short time and then continued on with the museum. ... it is closed for repairs after an earthquake in Virginia in 2011. We haven't had a good day's walking for several weeks because of the weather, and Terry really set a cracking pace. Walked over to the White House, and looked at it through the fence across the South Lawn. It was pretty exciting to see such a famous, important, historical icon.

... in Edinburgh to wish them a very merry christmas, this would be the first time that they would celebrate Christmas before us :) maybe next year we can all be together for a truly family Christmas.
Off to the movies to see the Hunger Games 2, the movies were very popular with most being sold out for most sessions, we returned to the hotel briefly before heading out on the Metro to Vienna and the Pavlik's for Christmas dinner, Ellie has spent a lot of time with them over the summer ...
