As you walk through the gates and into the Old Town, turn and look back at the opened windows of the bridge of the gates and there is full golden glory is St Theresa. People stop in the street and bow and prostrate themselves and there is a steady stream of worshippers lined up at the doors.. It hasn't been done in the last few years due to the financial crises, but there are plans for it to start again next year. 1st April, Put it in your diary!! Sad news

Extremely sad and shocking news today: My beloved Bapa, my grandfather, died last night of a sudden heart attack.

If you're reading this blog, you probably already know that, and are very likely a member of my family. This isn't really the place for me to write about Bapa and how close we were and how much I'm going to miss him. There will be more appropriate places for that. Suffice to say that I'm really beside myself with grief right now. We all are.
