... it was a must try spot. Justin got a blended cookies and and strawberry shake and I had a cookie frapacino. A delicious treat .that reminded of home. I guess motorbike accidents do happen here, although they seem to be so rare. As we were enjoying our beverage, I witnessed one first hand, it was scary! A gentleman with 2 super young kids on bike decided to make a left hand turn down an alley. The flaw in Asian driving is that they don't shoulder check. As he ...

Sometimes he will nod his head at me like he understands or shake his head no like I am wrong. I start naming things in english out the train window and he repeats me pointing at the same things. Then I point to his face and say "nose". He starts singing "head, shoulders, knees and toes" touching his body parts in the opposite direction. It's so cute ...

... sell me a waistcoat to the point of being pushy though. Then we went for a walk. Flaking mustard washed walls of the twisted ancient homes line the narrow streets. Upper stories peel back in ruin and hint at earlier art like Bruegel's Babel. Bougainvillea grows from the rooftops, and along the power lines dressing the fronts in garlands of pink, white and green. Globe like lanterns swing from balconies and incense hangs in the air. The pedestrianised streets open on to the ...
