... Incredible how they make them in 24 hours. I am beyond happy with all 3 coats I ordered. The town is full of handmade products everywhere. So we spend the rest of the day walking around and picking up a few treats for people back home. Tonight was a free night so Lydia and I made our way to the lateen river and sat down and had a meal for two. The price tag wasn't so nice but the food was pretty impressive. And that was our day done. Time for a well deserved rest. Night all ...

... usual. I thought the nice atmosphere would be all over the Ancient Town, but it isn't - a little bit of a let down.
Still, I was able to listen to a three man band playing some lovely traditional music, before trying something new: Che Thap Cam. This is some kind of desert with water, black beans, jelly and other sweets. It sounds strange, it looks strange, but for some reason it is actually nice. ... I am so impressed what they do so quickly. We all had our try ons and were very excited. We have another session tomorrow hopefully to bring some stuff home with us. Town was quite bustling so we trundled around looking at the old town buildings and enjoying the atmosphere. We ran into a couple who were on the boat with us in Halong Bay and had a chat with them.
