Hoi An

Our bed felt heavenly to sleep in last night after being in a homestay. We arrange to meet for breakfast at our new motel in Hoi An. Is quite a nice motel and the bed nice and soft. We had a lovely breakfast, buffet style. Felicity had good news that they found her passport, in the car that had bottles from the airport yesterday. That was such a relief. We decided to go into the old city and look at some of the old style buildings and do some shopping. It was Street ...

Was resting in the shade for a bit when a Vietnamese student came over as he ...

The hostel I had initially booked was a party hostel, with a bar in the hostel itself. I don't know, but at the last minute I changed the reservation to this other homestay hostel, which is further away from the town center. I don't think I really want to stay in a hostel with young people drinking and playing party games. ...

... more of the shots. It was easy as we were led around by a local girl, our chef and guide. Apparently the selling is almost all done by women as it is regarded as easier work while the men who have to catch all the stuff are doing the real work. Aussie girls have a lot to learn!

We all indulged in buying some really sharp cooking implements - Cleavers, knives, scrapers etc. We should introduce these tools to ...
