... from the photos we have visited friends on their boats and had friends on ours. Life in Rochefort is very sociable and busy which is great fun but I must admit sometimes when you can put you feet up of an evening, go for a walk, or a meal, read a book or watch TV this is just as enjoyable.We also like to keep in touch with family by skype or phone, when we are away for long periods of time we think this is very important and to ring friends for a natter is also lovely to catch ...

... the pontoon, they don't bother slowing up at all. Ivan from the port came to meet us in the River with Christian the motor boat which was lovely and as we entered the port our friend Chris Mee who lives on his barge welcomed us back as well.We moored up in our berth sorted Sega out and Bob joined us for a pork stir fry, cheese and plenty of wine and brandy......
