... assistant discovered this when the couple behind passed through security. "No sir, you can't bring a bottle of wine in your hand luggage, even though you have nicely packaged up all your toiletries in a clear plastic bag. That's it, blog over and what an experience it was. Just remember that Girona is a lovely, expensive, rude, determined, delightful, plain and different place. If you can make your mind up and go after that ridiculous summary of words - good on you. ... in a sandwich and toast it - we was told it was something we HAD to do before leaving Girona. Whether she was on commission or had a tongue that lacked the ability to measure richness I do not know, but that sandwich was RICO. So, arrived in Girona. Nice and early in comparison to the flight time arrival. Did you know RyanAir has 93% on time success rate - feel so privileged to be in that higher percentage. Although maybe this was to do with the rapid construction of a ladder like stairs that attached to the airplane. I know they like you to walk to save their own miles, but seeing woman and children disembark off a 2 hour flight via a ladder seems unacceptable. ...

Day 2 in the Big Spanish Country... Bit chilly, time to pull out the hat and scarf. Central heating? no? ok. The sun was trying to trick me. So today we go with our first host families who we will stay with for a while as part of the program agreement. They get a english speaking person for awhile to test and help their level of english and you move around children's houses from the school. We all waited in the hotel gardens for our host families to come and collect ...
