... the boat, jumped off the rails into the water and explored villages and beaches that we pulled into. We went to a little island with ancient ruins 2000 years old. We swam at our first beach that had sand - usually they only have rocks. We weren't allowed to walk or put our towels on the sand because it was so precious! We got back to Bodrum after 6 days sailing! Next stop ...

... under the stars. It's a pretty ****** life... Each day we motor to 3 or 4 different, but equally beautiful coves to swim and explore. We read, fish, play cards and generally relax. We have seen some interesting sealife, whilst not abundant like home, there has been enough to keep us entertained. A beautiful sea turtle, some incredible jellyfish that look like fried eggs and Greg even caught a Moray ...

... we don’t need to say to “cool off”.

This is one of those idyllic get away from it all and relax places. There are way too many restaurants for the number of tourists. However we do notice that people dine later than us so perhaps we don’t see it at its peak. We learnt later that most restaurants close on 10 October.

Well we seem to be so busy as we have a car this week,and trying to visit interesting places We had a dinner in the mountains my heart sank when I saw the steps which seemed to be endless but I made it with Peters help. Next morning off to Pythagorie which has a very well kept and well displayed museum and ruins outside. Learnt a great deal there .4000 years of civilisation . Off to port where there is a NZ ...
