... Prague and soak up its charm. Our hostel was right next to the Charles bridge which was handy. It is a nice bridge and led us right to the centre of town, where we spent a few happy hours exploring. The next morning I woke up just before sunrise so got up and wandered onto the bridge to try to get some photos. Later on we drove out of town on our way to Germany.

Once again the beauty of the Czech Republic was enjoyable. Once back ...

On Sunday we hopped in the car and headed for Hamburg. Made it out of Boppard just in time, as we were told that the two highways along the Rhine heading in the direction we wanted to go were going to be shut down for a "Bike Day" event. Whew!

We ordered a big taxi, driven by a lady with excellent English who gave us a bit of a tour on the way and dropped us at the station door 10 metres from the Europcar office. He told us he had the car type we’d ordered’ (compact) but for five euro a day we could upgrade to the mid size, and a Mercedes! Of course ...

... like us. The coolest part of the train was when we crossed form Denmark to Germany, the train rolled right onto the bottom of a giant ferry boat and we crossed the Baltic Sea!! That was so awesome, who would've thought a train could go on a ferry boat. We arrive in Hamburg, Germany at their huge central station and it is such a big difference from Copenhagen. You can already get the vibe that it is more crowded and dirty. So we immediately get ...

Went to see where they repair. Lufthansa and customer plans. Couldn't take pictures inside, but neat facility. Got up close to 747 being overhauled. Saw two 747 for a middle Easter rich guy, being outfitted. In all a cost of about a billion dollars. Enjoyed some free time in Hamburg Olster Lake. Rode on a solar powered ...
