      ... was moored. We were queued up through Customs etc. to get on to our ship the Louis Line Crystal. This is not one of the biggest Cruise Ships as it only has 1000 passengers and 300 crew and is only half the size of 2 or 3 other ginormous ships that were also docked in the Bosphorous .       ... filo pastry buffalo clotted cream and pistachios. It was a very delicate flavour, and not too sweet...we also enjoyed some fresh homemade lemonade to wash it down :-)

      last stop is apparently the best ice cream in the world! You need a knife and fork to cut it :-) it was delicious. It's made from goats milk and to give it the solid texture they use the root of orchids ! Our fav flavour was of course chocolate :-)

      that at ended our food tour....was totally worth it!! ...

      The second part of the bus tour took us along the European side of the Bosphorus and over the bridge into Asia. Along the way we saw the Dolmebahce Palace - built for the Sultans cos why have one enormous palace when you can have two? It also has a nicer water frontage and looks way more ...

      The Blue Mosque was smaller, more cluttered by its hanging lights, mustier and much less friendly than I remember. We were herded through by people with (presumably) a great love of Islam but very little instinct for evangelism :-) This time, ...
