... first time I have gone to bed dirty

It was to be an early start in the morning, off to Hurgarda, a resort town on the Red Sea, famed for its diving (I wouldn’t be doing any, forgot my PADI card)

We arrived about 2ish, Mark said it would be a hovel, the worst place we have been to, I asked him if it’s that bad "why are we going there?"

...via s stop on the West Bank of the Red Sea. A long and hot journey to Roots Camp sited close to small Red Sea lagoon. When we went for lunch, it didn't take us long to notice that we were the only Australians. How you ask? Well in the line ...

... at an all inclusive resort for 3 days! Not very Dragoman but a welcome change from the wild camping we did throughout Sudan and the ****** hotels we've had in Egypt so far. I've also got to that templed out stage as we have visited at least one a day since we hit Sudan. The pax changed in Gondar and it's all marginally better but no life long friends on this ...

... the sound of it). In fact, they are fast becoming the new “holiday yobs” of Europe, putting us and the Krauts in the shade (quite literally). Those all-inclusive all-you-can-eat meals must seem incredible when you’re used to queuing 2 days for half a sausage and a stale loaf of bread, and many of the guests seemed to be stocking up for several months.

The diving had tired us both out so we didn’t partake of the evening entertainment ...
