Day 16: Countryside
Today I went to a rural area of Italy. It was very calm and quiet here. The people were really nice and gave us some of their food so that we could eat there with them. Their houses were built of pure bricks making them very stable and warm for those cold fronts that come in the winter.

Seaside chill holiday

Finally got to write! it's been an experience upto now, to say the least! First of all the ship was late, supposed to sail at 12 noon, actually turned 1pm before we left Santa Cruz. When we embarked, no idea where to put Ruby! Eventually a crew member said there were cages on deck 9, off we set carrying all our luggage, our bags for overnight, Ruby's bed, food etc & 2 pillows!
