    ... 8 wide stairs to a "den" area where there is warm cider and coffee available 24 hours a day, beautiful leather couchs with like a heavy suede/leather blankets to throw over you. The balcony hosts a hot tub which is lit up red at night, and two stone fire pits. Just awesome. We can look in any direction to see snow covered hills and can actually see skiers on one of them.     ... we walked over to the Visitors Center to check things out. The marina is also located there. I took a picture for Dave Millross of the marina with the Tetons in the background. Next we hiked a 2 mile loop along the Colter Bay Lakeshore. Great views of three sea otters playing near the shore. Later we saw a deer and a bunch of geese.

    ... in Jackson early this evening, stopped at the grocery, and drove just north of town to camp at Shadow Mountain.     ... s surprise . There was beer, hotdogs, hamburgers, chili dogs and the like which suited the atmosphere of the night. An absolute blast....... Next morning and some intrepid travelers went white water rafting while the rest of us had and restful morning walking around Jackson Hole. It is a "cool" town with a real cowboy western feel.
