Finally back, after 4 years!
... again, but no time to sleep a lot, Lou had invited us for a Mexican BBQ that we much enjoyed. Without giving a daily summary of what we did, it had been a week of eating, sleeping and partying, enjoying the generosity of our hosts and friends who managed to do so much for us despite going to work every day. We went visiting Monterrey which Pierre found that has changed a lot with new towers, many more new malls and plazas as well as new road lay outs, bridges ...

I am not sure what they mean by a "Sitting Duck"...I am not a duck.....
I am leaving at night time...
Everyone tells me not to drive at night time...
Who are these people - a bunch of sissies that are afraid of the dark.....
Anyway - I do not listen to everyone or anyone....
Some have suggested that I get a dummy to put in the passenger's seat.
A dummy with a mean, vicious, ugly Mexican ...
Still alive in the Mexician border war zone.....
... Mexico there is a second immigration and customs check point and booth.
They are checking that you have the required documentation - tourist permit and temporary car importation papers and Mexican car insurance....It is quick and easy - no lineup - a formality as long as you do have the proper documentation..
About 20 K further on, there is a road toll booth. Road toll 200 peso's ($20)....yippp's
Speeding along this 200K to 300K toll road ...

... is fresh, there are mountains and hills every where you go, and it is beautiful. I find it funny how my family in mexico is so rich that one of my aunts have a mansion, but in America we are not so rich. Monterrey used to be so beautiful, until Las Zetas, a gang, destroyed it. At least i got to see my family that i have not seen in years. Even my mom came from Houston to my surprise party. ...
