    Awoke late with the fat German next door in the camper talking about something. Given it was half way through the morning the caffeine fix was calling. Happy to say the coffee at the camp site restaurant was excellent, as was the cake.     ... was at the back. However like a well oiled machine hey started to peel off and engines roared into life. Leaving the Port I checked the GPS - the route I had been shared was not working so - a manual input was required to Picos (note to self don't let others play with my tech...), Riding through central Santander with GPS was a dream, soon on the N... Headin south towards my destination, this is what we want. Quiet main roads compared to UK (and Perth...) ...

    Arrived around 10 am - very fortunate rooms available so able to shower and clean up. Car in basement garage ideal for working on dynamo. Took cover off dynamo and cleaned commutator then attempted to adjust 3rd brush. Unable to move it eventually gave up and removed battery - after a struggle, have to remove baseplate of holder first - and took it upstairs to charge. When connected to charger showed ...
