      I AN UP EARLY TO CATCH THE TRAIN TO NORTHERN SPAIN, A PLACE CALLED SANTANDER.       Llanes, at the top of Spain was a stopover that surprised us with its quiet, relaxing village life, dramatic views of the mountain range and interesting coastline with its many inlets and beaches.

      The quaint apartment was in a small village that was surrounded by farms with an abundance of animals including cows, donkeys, emus, turtles and lots of cats for the kids to try to pat.

      But it is really waves crashing through underground tunnels which came up to the surface and
      blew out mist.
      My sister was a bit scared. It was so good, that we went back the day after to see them again.

      I really enjoyed Llanes because it was different it was like in the outback with tonnes of
      animals.
