... bit of paperwork (typical Spanish type) but we were able to take ownership of the car this afternoon. We returned our rental to the airport and took a taxi to the dealership.

It is now safely parked in our underground garage. Lars is busy thinking of a name for our wheels. I'm just excited to contemplate our next road trip. We may be headed for the south of France soon...Annelie and Jan, be warned!

... when I explained we were tourists, he seemed pretty happy and gave us some freshly picked oranges. I am guessing that maybe some of the work permits were not up-to-date!

The Moroccans were very friendly and gave us even more oranges; this bodes well as we are heading there in a week or so! Back at the ranch, we joined Jenny and Steve who are still exploring their neighbourhood and trying to understand who their neighbours ...

... pretty little town where Mike discovered that he would like to die buried in a pile of French food...and French pastries...and French wine. Weirdly although I was on a quest to eat my way through Europe I am not a fan of French food...I know right? What a weirdo. From there we were off to Miramas to start our first workstay in France. ... a mistake, as only donkeys should be allowed. The road was so narrow we scraped a wing mirror. We were trying to find the ruins of the Moorish castle. I think we did, but could find nowhere to park and as Raewyn was panicking at the narrowness of the streets, we left without getting out of the car.

... Captain just announced that there is a storm in the Atlantic so we're heading further south and will go to the island of Madeira instead of the Azores.
