... jam I cause by sticking coins in the paper cash slot, I hopped on the next train (yes. I was getting tired). Beautiful evening though. The train offers a good opportunity to see the city. Sun was still up and people were filling up the cafes after work for a beer and a smoke. By the time , I got to the station, All the overnight tickets were gone, so I got a ticket for the first one in the morning. Just as well, I definitely needed a break from the roundabouts. We also visited an the church of Santo Tome where El Greco's work hangs, we saw a painting entitled The burial of Count Orgaz , we also saw a Jewish sin agog over 1000 years old. A visit to a Damascene workshop where we saw jewellery being made, such precise work. We then drove back to Madrid where we ...

Left Melide around 8 am. Sunny, warm morning. Delightful walk out of Melide. Our first stop was just over an hour after we started. Tea, orange juice and tarte de Santiago. Yumm. Can you believe the wait to use the toilet was 15 minutes? Continued walking. I had but a knee sock on and my knee became very irritated and swollen. Darn, I kept that thing on too long. We came upon a small cafe, sat ...

íHola! Figured it was high time for some upside down punctuation marks and Barcelona, home of the 1992 Olympics and the glorious theme song of Amigos Para Siempre, was our first stop in Spain. We had heard that Barca was almost as famous for its pickpockets as its nightlife and football team, but were pleasantly surprised to see its wonderful architecture and bustling streets as an ...
