    We were up at 7.45am after a rather bad nights sleep. After breakfast we were unsuccessful once again in face timing the kids. We caught the number 34 bus to Plaza Mayor, Sol, Callao. The markets were absolutely amazing with hundreds of stalls winding down & around very narrow streets. I've never seen so many leather items, bags, jackets, belts etc. I could have stayed there for hours, very hot in the sun but beautiful at stalls under big shaded trees. We had ...

    Today was jokes! Stopped at the medieval city of Carcassonne and had some bread with dips which was beautiful. Saw some beautiful buildings in Barcelona including the Sagrada Familia, a cathedral that famous Spanish architect Gaudi began but which is still being built. Then had a few drinks at the hotel and have a free day to explore Barcelona tomorrow! Sorry about the short blog, just having such a good time ...
