... walk from Belorado to Villafranca Montes de Oca, then caught the bus to Burgos. We spent the afternoon doing a little sight seeing and stopped to chat with Camino friends that we encountered here and there. Terri and I part ways here as she takes a break, and tomorrow I take the train 200 km west to Astorga where I continue walking. It has been so lovely making new friends and Terri and I will have walked, ...

Well worth including on the ...

... and I decide that I am not that interested in that part of the tour after all. Haha. Chicken!!! I have only wasted €1.60 anyway, so its no great loss for the benefit of my psychological wellbeing. Anyone who has done Psych 101 will understand. :-) I slowly wander back down the hill and past a couple of churches and the cathedral. I am struck by how many churches there are in the old part of Burgos, and reflecting on their history ...

... lunch in the Plaza and followed Barry around as he collected stamps for his Compostella (Camino passport) It would not do for him to have more than the rest of us, so we have to be on the lookout. A tour of the Burgos Cathedral exhausted us. The photos serve merely as prompts for a trip back to the 13th century. We plan to rest, have dinner, rest, then set out on a 40km ride from Burgos to Castrojeritz ...
