... Just kidding of course. Famous wood bridge with the flowers a symbolic photo from here in Lucerne. Geraniums cover the side of the bridge which spans Lake Lucerne near the town. The sad lion is an emotional spot. The lion was carved into the side of a cliff as a tribute to the 700 fallen soldiers who fell guarding the French royal family at the beginning of the French Revolution. ... usual lunch then a bit more wandering and guess what we ended if front of the same pub as the previous day for a few more pints. Then off to have a bite to eat, kebabs were on the menu - very nice too!!

The museum also houses a large collection of Dance Organs which you can play for a Euro a song. It is a strange eclectic museum with a huge amount of shop-store dummies dressed up and displayed in action poses. At times this is quite disconcerting

Lucerne is such a pretty place. It is clean and the people are very friendly (well, I thought so anyway). However, it’s really expensive! We kind of knew that Switzerland would be expensive but we are talking $6-7 for a small bottle of soft drink!
