It has a very peaceful grassy common lined with colourful houses situated on top of a cliff overlooking tropical beaches; the view at night especially was just wonderful. Highlights of our too short a stay there were swimming before breakfast, relaxing in the hammocks and getting to know Gustavo and Ana's lovely dogs and the naughty street dogs who spent all day running around on the beach...what a life!

... After lots of laughing and sputtering we made it. Monica could touch bottom but Anita had to swim...none of our stuff got wet though!! Then our next obstacle was some cliffs that ran into the water. Not high but menacing enough from afar. So we decided to try taking the road around...but it ended up turning the wrong way so we turned back towards the beach. We made it across the cliffs just fine...a bit of rock climbing in bathing ...

... my spiking may suck, this scares me as I don´t pass or set very well, and that means I´ll suck at all three aspects of volleyball, not cool). ... I was very happy to bump into musicians again!!). I met this music producer in São Paolo who told me I could stay in his house when I get there. I've noticed that Brazilians are always very happy to show you their city and welcome you in their house after knowing you for only ten minutes. But it's all very genuine and sincere, no faked nicities and that's what I like about them. I wanted to leave on Saturday already but they wouldn't let me go ...
