On the way over we got to see the active Colima Volcano spew a little steam out and on our way home the winds whipped up a rather dense dust storm across the dry lake beds just west of us. Several restaurants dotted the village and along a renovated malecon were several open air seafood restaurants which offered umbrellas, chairs and food out on the beach. One day for lunch we took advantage of this and had cold beers with great seafood while watching several local surfers challenge the waves some quite large at times.
