I started out Egypt in a state of disbelief as I was prepared that we wouldn't be going. The group a couple months before us has their Egypt portion cancelled due to safety concerns and apparently not many trips have gone to Egypt in the last years since the revolution. It was 106 degrees on Thursday, so no, Mae, we are not getting cooler or seeing any fall colors - just brown like every other day.
School was starting at 9am, now that the curfew has been lifted again, we start at 8:15. Today the teacher buses came at 6:45am!!! UGH. It only took us about 35 minutes to get to school, but nearly 1 hour 30 minutes to get home. I am sooo tired!
