We thought this deal was fair and arranged for the horses and guide to meet us at 2:30. My horse was a three year old colt named Bocholo. He was gray and had a Mohawk! I don't have a ton of experience with horses but we got along just ...

... have shown up 15 minutes after the boat departed. We learned that one of the reasons the fast boats took half the time to get to San Carlos (2 hours v 4 hours in the slow boat) was because they made just 2 stops along the way. At the Sabalos, the half-empty boat was quickly filled with locals. One was a cute little baby boy that was crying continuously right behind us until he was passed to his mother sat beside us and quietened with a bottle of baby milk. Just a ...

... start, stop/start, rev the **** out the bike maneuvers to get there, but we made it. Ojos de Agua is a natural fresh water source. It is crystal clear and a great place to enjoy a break from the heat. We headed home just after 16:00, without a single stop/start.
