We learned that one of the reasons the fast boats took half the time to get to San Carlos (2 hours v 4 hours in the slow boat) was because they made just 2 stops along the way.     ... people doing them want to get to the top as quickly as possible. Kev and I prefer to take it easy and enjoy the scenery and wildlife.
